Aldrin Community Center is located in Armstrong Park. The Center was named after Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin, who was a member of the Apollo 11 mission with Neil Armstrong and Michael Collins.

The facility houses the administrative offices of the Executive Director and the Finance Department. It also houses some recreation offices including the Deputy Director of Recreation.

The Apollo Room is a large multipurpose room that has a capacity of 70 persons. It has tile floor, high ceilings, electricity, and a large window to the Armstrong Park. There is a kitchen that is adjacent to the Apollo Room that has a full size refrigerator, microwave oven, conventional oven, dishwasher and lots of counter space.

The Apollo room is used for various programs throughout the year and is the site of our Bi-Monthly Board meetings.

The room and kitchen can be rented for birthday parties, club meetings, staff training, or just a large family gathering.

The Aldrin Center also has the Eagle Room that is primarily used for early childhood classes during the day. The room is also available for rental. The capacity of this room is 25 and includes tiled floor, counter, and sink, with a lovely view of Lake George. It can be used for a small party, club meetings or small staff training. It would also be great for a kid’s party.
