Get fit at the Carol Stream Park District with flexible fitness memberships and $0 start-up fees.

Fitness Center

Monday - Friday: 5:30am - 10pm
Saturday: 6:00am - 6:00pm
Sunday: 8:00am - 5:00pm

The Fitness Center features:

  • Treadmills, cycles, stairs, climbers,
  • Paramount weight machines
  • Olympic style free weights and dumbbells


Stability, Strength & Stretching Room 

Our expanded fitness area includes bosu, kettlebells, stability balls, resistance bands and spin bikes. 

The Fitness Room is open during regularly scheduled Fitness Center hours Monday-Sunday, except for times below

There are lockers and shower facilities located in the Simkus Recreation Center so whether you're on your lunch break, on your way home from work, we've got what you need. Our locker rooms have individual showers and lockers. If you're just stopping in, keep your valuables safe in our secure wallet lockers.

 

Note: Front desk does not open until 8am.

Shortened hours: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, Memorial Day and Labor Day.

Individualized Nutritional Counseling

Nutrition counseling involves one-on-one in-depth time with an on staff Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist. A specific individualized program is then created and monitored. Sessions include diary review, dining strategies, or behavior modification.  Topics can vary from weight loss to sport performance.

Therapeutic Massage

Relax, ease tension, relieve pain and feel great. Not only is massage therapysafe and effective for stress management, it helps normalize our circulatory, muscular and nervous systems. Choose from 30,60, and 90 minute sessions by a licensed massage therapist. All sessions take place at Massage Clinique in Carol Stream.

Teen Weight Training Class is geared toward teen boys and girls in providing valuable information about a successful weight training/cardiovascular program.  Proper technique on use of Fitness Center equipment, education muscle groups and nutrition.  Proper fitness attire required.   Click Here to register.

Teen Weight Training One-on-One Teen weight training class doesn't fit your schedule...No Problem!  Teen Weight Training One-on-One is available to teens ages 12-15 interested in becoming a Carol Stream Park District fitness center member.  Receive one-on-one instruction on proper fitness technique and develop a successful fitness program.                               Fee: $99 Resident   $119 Non-Resident

Yoga Lates Indulge in the benefits of two worlds-Yoga and Pilates.  Find focus and balance as you gracefully transition from yoga's strength and stretch movements to Pilates-inspired movements.

AM Challenge Start your day off right with an early morning fitness class. Challenge your body with a combination of step, aerobics, strength training, circuit training, abs and more.

ZUMBA Let Latin musin motivate you to move in this fun class.  Movements will be modified to fit fitness level.

Cardio Potluck Sunday morning cardio workout! Each week offers a variety of cardiovascular movements- kickboxing, step, interval and an abdominal workout. Various equipment will be used to strengthen and tone.

Mix It Up Mix up your workout with alittle bit of jab, step, interval, cardiovascular movements, Pilates and Boot Camp. Various equipment will be used to strengthen and tone.
