Dive into Summer with the Carol Stream Dolphins Swim Team!
Improve your strokes, fitness and speed and swim competitively against 14 other Park District swim teams in the DuPage Swim Conference.
The Carol Stream Dolphins Swim Team has been around for over 30 years for swimmers grades one to 12. Swimmers must be able to swim one pool length continuously (25 yards) to join. Previous competitive experience is not necessary.
Meets are on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. The season runs from the 2nd week of June through the last weekend in July.
One time concession fee:
The team will host 4 home meets and supply the concession stand for these meets, there will be a one time cost per family to start up this operation:
$15 one child swimming in family /$25 for 2 children in family swimming/$30 for 3 or 4 children in family swimming. This fee is payable to the Carol Stream Park District and must be paid prior to beginning of the season.
We also offer a stroke clinic before the season starts. The clinic is for swimmers wishing to improve stroke mechanics, prepare for the upcoming season or get acquainted with the Carol Stream Summer Swim Team will want to enroll in this program. All participants will be tested and divided into groups on the first day. All swimming abilities between the ages of 5-18 are welcome!
The swim team parents are responsible for the operations of the team outside the pool area. To make the team a success all parents are expected to volunteer to assist in running the swim meets.
