CSPD Summer Camps
Your camper’s summer mornings will be spent playing games, doing art and craft projects, singing camp songs, and participating in group activities and games. A local field trip or special event is included in each week of camp. Come join us! This camp has expanded to two locations. Participants must be 5yrs old by June 1, 2010.

Beat the heat and improve your skills. Tumbling and equipment will be taught. Improve dance skills, swim at Coral Cove Water Park and try a fun Step and Drums Alive fitness class. Participants are grouped by age and ability. Cheerleaders can also work on specific tumbling skills needed for tryouts. All campers will receive a skill evaluation and participation award.

Gymnastics, dance, and fitness! After an hour of gymnastics, campers will continue the fun in dance or fitness activities. Each day includes two hours of energetic movement and fun!

Come Join The Fun! The Carol Stream Park District in partnership with the local community will offer FREE activities at Armstrong Park and Community Park. After Hours is a drop-in program. Children are asked to sign in and out of the program. Activities and special events such as playing mini-golf or seeing a movie will be planned. Includes free end of summer BBQ sponsored by Joe Cotton Ford for all participants & their families.

This camp is taught by seasoned professionals who will give your child exceptional training that is age and skill appropriate. Your child will learn new techniques in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, musical theater and more!

Beginning Fun-gineering
Young children love to build! In this unique class they learn to do just that, using both virtual and solid materials. Their technology skills will grow, too, as their computer-generated buildings take shape and amaze our young architects! Two children per LEGO® kit.
Insect Explorers
Hands-on insect building & computer exploration bring nature study & engineering together in a big way! With our focus on language arts, reading, math & science.
Robo Launch Adventure
Hands-on fun and excitement abound as your children build their own robots using an infrared controlled robo-vehicle construction set. First we build them and then we make them go, go, go!

This one day workshop is for beginner or intermediate skaters who want to learn or enhance start, stop, drop in, ollies, basic ramp riding, balance and various tricks. This workshop will help prepare skaters for the upcoming 2nd Annual Throw Down Show Down Skateboard Competition on Sunday, May 23. Workshop instructed by Warp Skatepark.
