If you are not into sports and gymnastics is not your thing.don't worry. The Carol Stream Park District has a variety of General Interest programs that will meet your needs.

For the youth we have Cartooning, and babysitting, kids lock-in's, and magic classes. If you are into glamour then sign up for our Glamour Hair class. If the kitchen is your thing than take our cake decorating class or candy making class. Try your hand at Ceramics or get a head start on your Spanish.

For the Teens in our community we offer a variety of things to get involved in. Check out the Middle School Idol and sing your heart out. If you are not a signer than just come and cheer on your favorite. You can learn to Paintball or skateboard. If you just need some time to brush up on your school work then check out our after school resource centers located at Stratford and Jay Stream Middle School.

For the Adults of the community we offer First Aid, Identity Theft, Interior Design, and writing courses. If you have a new puppy or just a dog that needs to brush up on his manners, than check out our People Training for Dogs course. We offer courses in banking and money management and cooking classes. Are your frustrated with the computer or want to better understand what all the hype is about eBay then check out our course offerings? We have courses from painting to self defense. What ever your passion we can certainly offer you something.

For our older adults in the community we haven't forgotten you either. We offer Coffee and bingo on Thursday and Coffee and Cards every Tuesday. There is no cost and no registration. Just stop by the Simkus Recreation Center and enjoy.
