What’s JustPlay!


JustPlay! is exactly what its name suggests – it’s just about playing. It’s about forgetting about work, bills and stress, and just having fun!

offers dozens of free activities to thousands of participants. All designed to encourage people of all ages and backgrounds to get active, have fun, try new activities and have a memorable weekend in the Chicago suburbs.
Choose from dozens of interactive activities, demonstrations and performances in our 7 Activity Zones: Northwestern Medicine Action Zone, Baird Performance Arena, Kids Zone, Party Zone, Sport Court Zone, Water Sports Zone and Public Safety Zone.

is an outdoor event with some activities taking place inside the Fountain View Recreation Center.

Where is JustPlay held?
JustPlay! is held at Ross Ferraro Town Center at the junction of Gary Ave and Lies Rd in Carol Stream, Illinois. The festival site is just a few minutes south of Army Trail Road and a few minutes north of North Avenue.

Parking Information

On-site parking at the Carol Stream Town Center and Fountain View Recreation Center is available.

Off-site parking with free shuttles at the Communications Supply Corporation (CSC) building (200 E Lies Rd, across Gary Ave). Free shuttle buses run every ten minutes until 30 minutes after closing. The bus has a fully accessible wheelchair lift and can accommodate strollers. A small number of parking spots for handicapped parking are available at the festival site.

Additional parking is available at Hampe Park (301 W. Lies Rd). Note: there is no shuttle service provided from this location.

Festival Volunteers

Volunteers at JustPlay! help with setting up and taking down the festival, running events and and do a great community service by helping us do bigger and better things at the Festival. Volunteers get an exclusive festival T-shirt. Contact us for more details on how to become a volunteer.

Can I bring my dog?

Friendly, socialized dogs are allowed on the festival site. Owners must keep dogs on a six foot leashes at all times and clean up after their pet. Please only bring your dog if they are comfortable in large crowds and comfortable with loud noises.
