What is CSBarks?

CSBarks is the Carol Stream Park District's annual dog festival.

The event, first held in 2009, features dog displays, dog themed vendors, organized dog walks and an off leash dog area.

Where is CSBarks held?

CSBarks is held in Armstrong Park, at 391 Illini Dr, Carol Stream. View a map here.

The off-leash area is held within the fenced roller hockey court in Armstrong Park.

Where can I park?

On-site parking is available at Armstrong Park. Spaces are limited so please arrive early.

Do I have to bring a dog to take part?

Bringing a dog is not compulsory. CSBarks also includes activities for children, working dog demonstrations and dog displays that everyone can enjoy, with or without a dog. Please note, this is not an adoption event, so you will not be able to adopt a dog at the event.

What are the festival rules?

  • Please only bring dogs of good temperament that are not afraid of crowds or children.
  • All dogs must be on a 6 ft. (max) retractable leash.
  • All dogs must have update vaccinations and rabies tag.
  • Only one dog per handler.
  • Handler must be 18 yrs or older.
  • Please leave kitty and other pets at home.
  • Female dogs in any stage of heat will not be allowed to attend

Off-leash dog park rules

  • No toys in the dog park.
  • One dog per owner.
  • Stay focused on your dog while in the dog park.
  • Rabies tag required to enter.
  • Max. 60 dogs at a time.
  • No puppies under 6 months old
