Rotary Club of Carol Stream Fido Fun 3k Walk

Enjoy the fresh air and open spaces at the Park with your four-legged friends and get some exercise with your neighbors of Carol Stream. Proceeds from the Walk will benefit the local community projects of the Carol Stream Rotary Club. The first 100 registrants will receive a souviner t-shirt.

Registration

Early registration $20 for one handler and up to two dogs before Wednesday, September 1, 2010. Same day registration fees of $25 for one handler and up to two dogs. Registration includes one goodie bag and one raffle ticket per registration.

Canine Concerns and Regulations

The walk will be cancelled if there is threat of lightning. All friendly, well-behaved dogs are welcome. Only you know your dog’s temperament and social limitations. If your dog is loud-noise phobic, afraid of people, or nervous around other dogs or strange situations, perhaps he/she can remain safely at home while you enjoy this walk with your neighbors. Dogs should be controlled on a 6ft non-retractable leash at all times. For the health of your pets and the other dogs, we request that ALL dogs be current on their annual Rabies vaccine and other recommendations by your veterinarian (parasite check/distemper/bordatella vaccines). All dogs should be conditioned for a two-mile walk. At the discretion of the Directors, pets that act unruly or may prove hazardous to other participants will be asked to leave. Please clean up after your own pets.
