Canine Good Citizenship

Throughout the day AKC evaluators will be testing dogs for the Canine Good Citizenship program.

Testing costs $3 per dog and all dogs are welcome to enter. Started in 1989, the CGC Program is designed to reward dogs who have good manners at home and in the community. All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test may receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club. Tests include meeting a stranger, sitting politely, walking through a crowd and coming when called. For more information on the test visit the AKC website.
