Finance Committee Meeting

Executive Director Biondo, and Director of Finance & Administration Rini

Meeting called to order at 6:00 pm.

Review of Treasurer’s Quarterly Report

Director Rini reviewed the Fourth Quarter Treasurer’s Report which reflected preliminary, unaudited numbers. The committee reviewed the year-end projections and the progress towards reducing the Recreation Fund deficit. The Committee also discussed the investment plans for the 2010 bond issues.

Other Items

The Committee held a short discussion regarding District credit card usage.  The card earns SouthWest Airlines reward points for free airfare and has contributed to reducing travel expenses. Formal credit card usage procedures and limitations are in place, and will be provided to the Committee members for reference. A breakdown of individual charges will provided to the Committee.

There being no further business to discuss, Commissioner Powers motioned to adjourn. Seconded by Commissioner Bird. Voice vote taken, 4-0-0. Meeting adjourned at 6:55 pm.
