Nature Classes

The Carol Stream Park District has partnered with the Bartlett Nature Center to offer nature based programs at James “Pate” Philip State Park. The park is less than 15 minutes from Carol Stream, at 2054 W. Stearns Road in Bartlett, two miles west of Route 59.

Adult

Improve your art skills, learn a language or learn expert techniques for cake decoration with our adult special interest programs.

Forever Young (50yrs+ trips)

Whether you are the adventurous type, looking for an exciting day trip or you’re interested in meeting new friends over a cup of coffee, there is a Forever Young program for you! Our 34 person bus picks up at several locations, providing a comfortable, carefree experience.

Our Forever Young program also features two weekly free events:

Coffee & Cards – Tuesdays, 12-3pm
Bring your pennies to this informal, free drop-in afternoon of card playing! We’ll provide the coffee and any treats you wish to bring are welcome!

Coffee & Bingo – Thursdays, 12-2pm
Join in on the fun of free bingo! We’ll supply the coffee, bingo prizes, and a gift certificate for the cover-all winner. Please bring a grab bag gift for an additional bingo prize and snacks are always welcome.
