Theme Camps

Keep your kids entertained and learning this summer with our new range of special interest camps beginning spring 2012.

Camp On The Go 

Your camper’s summer mornings will be spent playing games, doing arts and craft projects, singing camp songs, and participating in group activities. A local field trip or special event is included in each week of camp. Campers must be 5 years old by June 1, 2011. No camp July 4. Camp On The Go is on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00am – noon. Register week by week or for the whole summer! Camp runs June 20 through August 12. Rain location will be at the Aldrin Community Center.

After Hours-FREE!

The Carol Stream Park District offers FREE activities at South Armstrong Park and Community Park. After Hours is a drop-in program. Children are asked to sign in and out of the program. Activities and special events such as mini-golf or seeing a movie will be planned. After Hours is designed for children in grades 3-8. Armstrong Park runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00p – 8:00p and Community Park runs on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 4:00p – 8:00p.

Drawing Camps

Get ready for a creative summer with our new range of drawing camps. Learn the skills to express your creativity. All children can learn to draw!

Sizzling Summer Tot Camp

Sizzlin’ Summer Tot Camp provides a non-competitive and structured atmosphere! Children will learn the importance of sharing, listening, and cooperation through games and activities and explore science, crafts, songs, stories and games. Activities will be held both indoors and outdoors. All children must be potty trained.

Nature Camps

Your adventurous youngster will love spending time at Nature Camp! They will play, discover, create, and explore the world around them at Bartlett Nature Center. Campers will need Please send water, a snack, sunscreen, bug spray, and a backpack.

Let’s Go Summer Trips

Have fun this summer and hang out with your friends on summer trips to Bartlett Nature Center. Ages 13-15 years only. Transportation is provided from Simkus Recreation Center.
