The Carol Stream Park District parks and playgrounds are your parks – open for biking, hiking, running, walking, picnics, fishing, boating and more. With over 35 parks within the district you are never far from open space.
Boating is only permitted in Armstrong Park, Mitchell Lakes, Weeks Park, Evergreen Lakes and Heritage Lakes. A permit is required.
Catch and release fishing is encouraged in all park district waterways. State fishing regulations and licensing also apply. Ice fishing is strictly prohibited.
Ice skating is only permitted in Armstrong and Tedrahn parks, and only when a green flag is flying. Skating is entirely at the skater’s own risk.
Sled hills in Armstrong and Weeks Park West are open for public use during winter months.
