A half acre neighborhood park with playgrounds and gardens for the very young and the young at heart.
The park has six lighted baseball/softball fields, one basketball court, and two football fields. In the winter there is a sled hill and in the summer there is a roller rink for roller hockey. Bierman is a beautiful 40 acre park overlooking the peaceful park also offers paths around Heritage Lake for walking, biking or rollerblading. For a peaceful afternoon, throw a fishing pole in the lake and see what you catch.
|Blue Heron Park|
Blue Heron is a neighborhood park located in the Cambridge Walk subdivision. It has a gazebo that overlooks a wetland where you will often see the Blue Heron gathering. The park includes two playgrounds for both tots and youth. The pathway in the park is marked like a street for the tots to practice their street safety skills on their Hot Wheels or Tricycles.
Cambridge Park is a seven acre park located in northern Carol Stream. The park includes a baseball/softball field, a playground and swings. The park is also used as a practice site for our youth soccer program. There is a ¼ mile path through the park from Woodhill Drive to Buckingham.
Charger Court Tot Lot is a two acre neighborhood park with a playground for tots and swings for both tots and youth.
Community Park is a 68 acre park located in the far south east corner of Carol Stream. The park includes two baseball fields, several basketball courts, tennis courts and soccer fields. There are pathways for walking and picnic shelters to rent for family outings.
|Evergreen Lakes Park|
Evergreen Lakes Park is a 14 acre park that includes Evergreen Lake. The lake is great for fishing and boating. The lake has been shoreline restored in order to prevent the deterioration of this shoreline. There are many native plantings surrounding the lake.
|Fair Oaks Park|
Fair Oaks West– This is a linear parkway along Fair Oaks Drive. There are no-mow areas with native plantings and wild life Fair Oaks Central – This is a neighborhood park with a small lake for fishing. Fair Oaks East – This is a neighborhood park perfect for a pick up game of kick ball.
Friendship Park is a one acre neighborhood park located in central Carol Stream. The park includes a gazebo for a small family picnic and several playgrounds

Hampe Park is a lovely 22 acre park site with many amenities. This park is named for Norm Hampe who severed as our Park Board Commissioner. There are three soccer fields, a rentable picnic shelter with restrooms, several playgrounds and a skate park called X-Tream SK8T.
|Jan Smith Park|
Jan Smith Park is a four acre native plant museum. It includes a small outdoor museum garden of native prairie plants. Each fall, on the annual harvest day, local gardeners collect the seeds and take them home to use in their gardens. Tours are available for groups. Volunteers are always needed for weeding and caring for the gardens during the growing season. If you would like to volunteer please call Jan Smith at (630)653-3958.

Jirsa Park is a 12 acre park on the west side of Carol Stream. The park includes several playgrounds and a small pond for fishing. The park is adjacent to our newest park, Slepicka Homestead Park. A path has been constructed that connects these two parks for an enjoyable walk.
Kent Park is a small four acre neighborhood park with a baseball/softball filed, a playground and some pathways. Kent was named after Wilber Kent as the Park Board Executive Director and was one of our first park board commissioners.
The park includes four baseball/softball diamonds, two soccer fields, a cricket court, and four basketball courts.
This is a lovely quiet one acre neighborhood parks with the Klein Creek running through it. The park includes a playgrounds and quiet sitting area for reflection. It also includes a peace pole that was provided by a local Girl Scout Troop in town.
|Mitchell Lakes Park|
Mitchell Lakes is a linear park that includes two lakes. It has a 1 mile asphalt path the weaves around both lakes. The Park was named after Fred Mitchell who was one of the first park commissioners. The entire site is 23 acres. The lakes are great for fishing.
Murray Meadows is a two acre wetland meadow that is a great place to see meadow wild life.
|Barbara O'Rahilly Volunteer Park|
This park was named after the one of the Park Districts Executive Director’s and all the board members and community volunteers that the park district has had over the many years. It is a four acre park that includes playgrounds , picnic shelter that can be rented for picnics, and two bocce courts.
|Papoose Tot Lot|
Papoose Tot Lot is a wonderful one acre neighborhood park located in the center of Carol Stream. The park includes two playground areas for both the youth and the little ones.

Park on the Green was named by the Children in the neighborhood. It is a ½ acre neighborhood park with a playground. The park is accessed from Bob-O-Link
|Pleasant Hill Park|
Pleasant Hill Park is a 10 acre park with three baseball/softball diamonds, two ½ basketball courts a soccer field and two tennis courts. There are two playgrounds for the kids.The parking lot is located on the east side of Harriet Street, Take County Farm south to Geneva east to Harriet Street north

This is a quiet neighborhood park. It is the location of our newest playground. It is a great place for a quiet afternoon of play for the little ones and the youth.
Slepicka Park, named after the family that farmed that there since the 1940’s, was opened by the Carol Stream Park District in October 2008.

Spring Valley Park is a 12 acre park located in the far North West corner of Carol Stream. The park has two soccer fields, a baseball/softball field and a great deal of open space. It is located adjacent to the Spring Trail School.

Tedrahn Park is a beautiful seven acre neighborhood park with a lovely lake that is great for fishing. It also includes a playground for the kids. The park was named after Earl Tedrahn who was a local store owner and was a dispatcher for the volunteer fire department during the early days of Carol Stream.
Tokarski Park is a ½ acre neighborhood park. It has a great playground for the kids, young and old. This park was named for Ted Tokarski who was a fire chief for the Village of Carol Stream during its early years.

Walter Park is a six acre park named after Gerald Walters who was one of the first Park Commissioners for the Carol Stream Park District. The park includes a baseball/softball field and a soccer field. It also includes a playground and a basketball court.
