The park has six lighted baseball/softball fields, one basketball court, and two football fields. In the winter there is a sled hill and in the summer there is a roller rink for roller hockey. Blue Heron Park
Blue Heron is a neighborhood park located in the Cambridge Walk subdivision. It has a gazebo that overlooks a wetland where you will often see the Blue Heron gathering. The park includes two playgrounds for both tots and youth. The pathway in the park is marked like a street for the tots to practice their street safety skills on their Hot Wheels or Tricycles.

Cambridge Park
Cambridge Park is a seven acre park located in northern Carol Stream. The park includes a baseball/softball field, a playground and swings. The park is also used as a practice site for our youth soccer program. There is a ¼ mile path through the park from Woodhill Drive to Buckingham.

Evergreen Lakes Park
Evergreen Lakes Park is a 14 acre park that includes Evergreen Lake. The lake is great for fishing and boating. The lake has been shoreline restored in order to prevent the deterioration of this shoreline. There are many native plantings surrounding the lake.

Hampe Park is a lovely 22 acre park site with many amenities. This park is named for Norm Hampe who severed as our Park Board Commissioner. There are three soccer fields, a rentable picnic shelter with restrooms, several playgrounds and a skate park called X-Tream SK8T.

Jan Smith Park
Jan Smith Park is a four acre native plant museum. It includes a small outdoor museum garden of native prairie plants. Each fall, on the annual harvest day, local gardeners collect the seeds and take them home to use in their gardens. Tours are available for groups. Volunteers are always needed for weeding and caring for the gardens during the growing season. If you would like to volunteer please call Jan Smith at (630)653-3958.

Mitchell Lakes is a linear park that includes two lakes. It has a 1 mile asphalt path the weaves around both lakes. The Park was named after Fred Mitchell who was one of the first park commissioners. The entire site is 23 acres. The lakes are great for fishing.
