School Year Care – ActivKids

Registrations, schedule changes and withdrawals are required seven days in advance.

Before & After Care Registration is Open!

ActivKids Before & After Care is for students at CCSD93 schools in kindergarten through 5th grade. Participants enjoy games, crafts, sports, free play and time outside, as the weather allows, along with optional homework time. Snack is provided in After Care.

Registration, schedule changes, and withdrawals are required seven days in advance. If requesting within seven days, supervisor approval is required and a $5 enrollment change/late registration fee is charged. However last minute changes cannot always be accommodated.

Payments

  • Payment for the first month is due at registration, along with a non-refundable enrollment fee.
  • All subsequent payments are automatically withdrawn on the 1st of the month, from September-May.
  • Payments vary from month to month based on the number of attendance days.
  • The enrollment early bird fee is $50 and $65 on or after July 1.
  • Payment amounts & draft dates are listed on your receipt.
  • Lack of payment will jeopardize participation in the program.

Schedules

  • Participants must sign up for the same schedule for the full school year.
  • Individual date selections are not permitted (however daily flex passes for occasional care are available).
  • New enrollments, schedule changes, and withdrawals must be completed seven days in advance.
  • An enrollment change fee is applied for all schedule changes after the initial registration.
  • If there is an emergency request for a new enrollment, schedule change, or withdrawal within seven days, program supervisor approval is required and a late registration/enrollment change fee is charged. Requests within seven days cannot always be accommodated.
  • Refunds/credits are not available for missed days or due to withdrawing during a month that has been paid for.

ActivKids Procedures & Expectations

The Parent/Participant Handbook is updated prior to each school year and throughout the year as updates are necessary. By registering for this program, you’ve agreed to review and follow all ActivKids procedures and expectations as listed in the handbook.

A health check should be conducted prior to attending school and the ActivKids program. If your child begins to exhibit any symptoms of illness, immediate pick-up is required.

Participants must meet essential eligibility requirements. If one-on-one assistance is needed, WDSRA inclusion support may be provided at no cost. A minimum of two weeks’ notice is required and participation may not begin or may be suspended until an aide is secured.

Flex Passes

Need a more flexible schedule or occasional care? Choose the individual dates your child can attend with an ActivKids Before & After Care Flex Pass.

Seven days advanced registration is required. Emergency Flex Passes may be available with supervisor approval for an additional $5/day. Payment is due at the time of registration. A completed registration packet is required for all enrollments. Cancelations and schedule changes are not accepted within seven days of the program date. Registration may close at any time when maximum enrollment has been met.

ePACT Emergency Information

After registering, you’ll receive an email invitation that guides you through a few quick steps to set up your account and share your child’s information with us.

Within the email, click ‘Complete Request’ to create a free account or log-in if you already have an existing ePACT account.

Enter the required information and share it with us so that program staff have access.

All information must be completed before your child can begin participation.

You can make updates within ePACT at any time. We no longer have paper forms and staff can only view your child’s emergency information via this software.

Days Off Club

Register for Days Off Club, when school is not in session. Program takes place at Simkus Recreation Center. All school districts are welcome – grades K-6.

Get Licensed to Support Illinois Youth!

Park District Youth License Plates 

The sale and subsequent renewals of each license plate generate $25 for the PowerPlay! Beyond School Grant Program, which funds youth programs in park and recreation agencies throughout Illinois. The goal of the PowerPlay! program is to increase the number of opportunities designed to show youth the lifelong benefits of fitness, health and nutrition.
