Partial-day Hybrid Learning Childcare for CCSD93 students and full-day Remote Learning Childcare for students of all districts are available!
The partial-day hybrid learning program is available for CCSD93 students in grades K-5. Full-day remote learning childcare is also available for students of all school districts in grades K-8.
You can register online, in person at Simkus Recreation Center, Monday-Friday from 9 am-5 pm, or by emailing a registration packet to email@example.com.
The program operates from Monday, August 31, 2020, through Friday, December 18, 2020.
You can choose from 1-5 days per week for the fall session. Days chosen at the time of registration must remain the same for the entire season. Daily, weekly and monthly options are not offered.

Non-refundable enrollment fee: $15
Session fees can be paid in full at the time of registration, or by payment plan. $15 non-refundable enrollment fee and payment for the first two weeks are due at registration. All subsequent payments are automatically withdrawn every two weeks. Scheduled payment amounts and dates are listed on your receipt. If the school district begins in-person learning before 12/18/2020, future payments are canceled, and a credit issued if applicable.
Simkus Recreation Center.
No more than two students are seated per 6-foot table to allow for social distancing. The tables are spaced at least 6 feet apart. Additional information on safety procedures and the wellness check conducted each day is included in the online Parent/Participant Handbook .
Yes, face coverings are required of all participants. They can be taken off while seated, during lunch, and when outside and more than 6 feet apart.
Carol Stream Park District staff are supervising participants. They can assist with connecting to the internet and with basic computer issues, facilitate activity breaks, and ensure that student schedules are being followed, but are not educators or tutors.
Students should bring all necessary items (face covering, fully charged computer or tablet, headphones, charger, lunch, water bottle, backpack) with them each day.
