I have always been active and passionate about fitness, and now I have the chance to inspire those around me. No one likes to do boring workouts, so I strive to incorporate workout exercises that are fun yet challenging. I believe that fun is the key to any successful exercise regimen. In order to become passionate about working out and doing it on a consistent basis, you must have fun while you are doing it. With this, hard work, and perseverance, positive results are inevitable. As a personal trainer, my goal is for my clients to achieve theirs.
I have lived in Carol Stream for 20 years and growing up have participated in soccer, basketball, swimming, and gymnastics through the park district. This town has been great to me, so through the years, I have also done some volunteer work to give back to the community.
I have enjoyed participating in sports and working out my entire life. I want my clients to enjoy working out and have a positive experience. Which would help my clients improve or maintain their healthy lifestyle. Each client will have a plan designed for their individual goals. I will do my best to give my clients the tools to be confident when they workout. My goal as a personal trainer is to help my clients achieve their goals.
I love teaching classes, helping to motivate positive change in the participant’s habits that results in transforming their bodies, their health and their lives. It is important to help our participant’s create long term sustainable success. Exercise, proper nutrition and a behavioral change are necessary for them to reach their goals and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
In my free time I enjoy running. I am a marathon runner. I live in Winfield and am married with three daughters. I also enjoy cooking. I teach a music program called “God’s Children Sing” at our church in Wheaton.
My fitness journey began back in high school when I became interested in the mechanical and strength side of the human body. I was always fascinated in finding the best ways to improve my athletic abilities in the sports that I was participating in.
My personal story began in my junior year of high school when I weighed about 130lbs and always felt under weight and too weak. That’s when I began my research on body composition and the drastic change a body can undergo through strength training and conditioning. My goal is to be able to share that knowledge with anyone who is motivated to transform themselves.
I started out ten years ago in this industry with the love for exercise when I discovered the benefits beyond sports. I love teaching others and seeing positive changes through daily improvements. Whether improvements are a strength gain, a better mood, a weight loss, or just getting out of the house, the feeling of accomplishment is present. Exercise is medicine.
Fitness means finding health, stress management, socialization, and confidence through movement. The benefits of working with me include weight loss, flexibility, mindfulness, mental satisfaction of a job well done, and overall a more positive outlook.
I love trying new and interesting foods, dancing, traveling, basset hounds, and watching American Ninja Warrior.
Fitness and physical activity have always been part of my life, starting with dance at the age of 5, to strength training and a bit in between. I have always been in the business of caring for and helping others. Coaching others be the best version of themselves is what drives me. I love teaching clients how to make lifestyle changes to accomplish their individual goals.
