Youth Soccer - Spring

Games

8 games scheduled for all leagues.
One game per week.
Games played on Saturdays. Week night games may be played if necessary
The season starts in Early April
Ends Mid June depending on rain-outs

In House

Pre/K and 1st/2nd Grade Teams play most games in Carol Stream against other Carol Stream Park District teams, and possibly a couple against surrounding district teams.
Friendship/Carpool requests will be taken into consideration for all levels.
- If you registered for Youth Soccer in the fall and are registering again for the spring, we will make every effort to keep returning players and teams together. Any friendship or carpool requests must be submitted to no later than one week after the registration deadline.

LEAGUE INFORMATION

Recreational League

Summer season starts
- 1st-2nd Grade – Monday, July 10
- 3rd-4th Grade – Tuesday, July 11
- 5th-6th Grade – Wednesday, July 12
- 7th-8th Grade – Wednesday, July 12
Deadline: Monday, June 26
League consists of an 8 game season
Games are played 3 on 3
- Teams are made up of 3-5 players
Games are played at Community Park
Players must register for the grade level they are in for the 2022-2023 school year.
- Playing up is allowed.

Competitive League

Summer season starts
- U10 – Wednesday, July 12

- U14 – Thursday, July 13

Youth Soccer Indoor (Futsal) - Winter

LEAGUE INFORMATION

Futsal is a fast-paced, modified form of indoor soccer played with five players per team (including a goalkeeper) on a basketball-sized hard court defined by lines, not walls. The game uses a smaller, low-bounce ball and allows unlimited “flying substitutions,” keeping the action continuous and dynamic. It’s a self-teaching game where players constantly develop their passing, dribbling, receiving, and movement skills under pressure in tight spaces. This league offers a great opportunity for players to keep playing soccer during the winter. Games will be held every Sunday and will consist only of matches. Teams are welcome to register, but all players must sign up individually. For those not joining as a team, rosters will be created based on schools and friendship requests.

Teams are welcome but players must register individually. Team rosters must be submitted by the registration deadline. Minimum team roster is 5 with a maximum of 10

Youth Sports League Affiliate

Carol Stream Panthers Soccer Club

Panthers soccer offers a competitive travel soccer program for U8-U15 with boys and girls teams competing in Northern Illinois Soccer League (NISL), Young Sportsman’s Soccer League (YSSL), and Illinois Women’s Soccer League (IWSL). Tryouts for the fall, winter, and spring season are held in May with a one-year commitment. Additional tryouts throughout the year are available upon request.
