The ActivKids Before and After School program has been chosen to receive the PowerPlay! Beyond School Grant for the 4th year! We will use this grant to enhance our current Before and After School program to promote education on health, nutrition and fitness for our participants. By having additional demonstrations, speakers and educational materials available to participants, as well as partnering with the park district’s fitness center to offer health and fitness programs at each of our six sites, we will continue to educate our participants on healthy living. We are so excited to have received the PowerPlay! grant again this year!
