Coral Cove Water Park – Rules

If present, lifeguards are responsible for enforcing safety rules and responding to emergencies The Carol Stream Park District reserves the right to revoke any season passes as well as suspend individuals paying daily admissions, if there are continual violations of facility rules. The pool management is authorized to implement and enforce rules that are more stringent or that supplement those listed here.

  • Children Under 12 Accompanied by Adult (16+)
  • No Persons:
    • With Infectious Disease Transmitted through the Water
    • Under the Influence of Alcohol
    • Exhibiting Erratic Behavior
  • Swimsuits Required No Swimsuit, No Swimming
  • US Coast Guard Approved Life Vest Allowed
  • No Flotation Objects
  • No Snorkel Masks
  • No Mermaid Tails and Mono Fins
  • Plastic Pants Over Swim Diapers Plastic pants are available for purchase from the cashier.
  • No Diaper Changing on Pool Deck Diaper changing stations are available in the restrooms.
  • No Outside Food or Drink Except plastic water bottles and baby formula.
  • No Glass
  • No Spraying Objects
  • No Hard Throwing Objects
  • No Dirty Footwear
  • No Soap in Pool or on Deck
  • Parent/Guardians Supervise Your Children
  • Children Unable to Swim Must be Within Arms Reach of Their Parent/Guardian
  • Watch Your Children at At All  Times
  • No Running
  • No Swimming Alone
  • No Rough or Boisterous Play
  • No Prolonged Under Water Breath Holding
  • No Spitting or Nose Blowing In Pool
  • No Smoking
  • Shower Before Entering The Pool Encouraged
  • Use Caution In Use of Diving Board
  • Diving is Only Allowed Off Diving Board

Our staff is fully trained and equipped to handle any first aid emergency. Feel free to ask a lifeguard or manager for assistance.  The Carol Stream Park District does not provide individual health and accident insurance. Coral Cove Water Park and Carol Stream Park District are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

 

Coral Cove Reserves the Right to Close Due To:

  • inclement weather
  • temperature below 68 degrees
  • low attendance (Under 30 guests within one hour)

Swimming is prohibited at outdoor swimming pools when lightning is present, including a 30-minute period after the last lightning observed or thunder is heard.


Locker Usage

Coin lockers are available to use in both the men’s and women’s locker rooms. To use the coin lockers:

  • Insert your belongings into an available locker
  • Insert a quarter into the coin slot
  • Turn the key until you hear a click, then remove the key

Swimmer Areas

All group participants are wristbanded prior to entering the pool.
