500 Mile Challenge 2021

Walk, jog or run 500 miles in 2021! That’s only 1.4 miles per day or less than 10 miles per week to stay on pace. Submit your miles every time you use the indoor track or a treadmill. Earn prizes as you achieve each goal.

Reach 500 Miles for a chance to win a free all-inclusive fitness or walking track membership.

Specialty Classes

Refer to the Digital Guide Fitness section to see fee-based specialty fitness classes. Membership is not required. We are currently offering:

Go and Row (ages 16+)

This class zeros in on specific muscle groups for a continuous workout. Kettlebells and various other pieces of equipment are used in combination with endurance building sets on the water rowers. This is the perfect workout for sculpting lean muscle.

Kids Boot Camp (grades 3-5)

Kids Boot Camp is a high energy, fun filled exercise class for kids. This class strives to increase the overall health and fitness level of kids in a fun, positive, and motivating environment by utilizing fitness games, body weight exercises, resistance bands, circuits and more.

Fitness Member Referral Program

Share the gift of health and encourage your friends to join you as Fountain View Fitness members.

It is very simple to join the Fountain View Fitness member referral program and we do all the work.

For each referral that purchases a Fountain View Fitness All-Inclusive Membership and remains active one month from the date of activation, the referring member receives a free month of membership to be added to their current membership at the time of renewal for annual memberships (this cannot be redeemed for cash, credit or refund should the referring member cancel their membership before the renewal date). For monthly memberships, once the referral parameters are satisfied, the free month(s) of membership is applied to the following month.

Equipment Orientation

A free introduction to cardio, strength, and selectorized equipment is available to all-inclusive members. Learn how to operate your favorite machines and receive guidance on proper form and technique. Members ages 12-13 must complete an equipment orientation before utilizing the fitness center.

Fitness & Nutrition Assessment

Meet with one of our Personal Trainers or Nutrition Coach for a free one-hour consultation to discuss your health history and personal goals. Get tips based on the consultation and also discuss a tailored program to fit your individual needs. The personal training assessment includes a series of standard tests to assess your current fitness level.

Fountain View Fitness Rules


Failure to dress properly results in denial to workout.


  • Members must wear appropriate exercise attire at all times. The clothing must be for exercise purposes. Casual clothing is not allowed.
  • A shirt must be worn to cover the upper body and midriff
  • Shorts must be mid-thigh or longer.
  • No jeans, jean shorts, or any article of clothing with zippers or rivets.


Observe proper personal hygiene by showering regularly, wearing clean clothing, and using deodorant.


  • Gym shoes or athletic shoes are required.
  • No open-toed shoes, open-backed shoes, boots, sandals, or casual shoes are allowed.


Fitness members should report all equipment malfunctions immediately to the Fitness staff. Members must wipe down all equipment after use with anti-bacterial and EPA approved wipes.

Cardio Machines

  • Slow down, clear, and reset the cardio machines for the next member.

Free Weights

  • Collars are to be used at all times to secure weights on bars.
  • Weight plates are not to be leaned against equipment standards and machines.
  • After utilizing equipment, strip bars, and return plates and dumbbells to proper storage areas.
  • Safety bars must be used on squat racks, leg sled, and the Smith machine. Set the safety bars one inch lower than the lowest movement with the bar.
  • Dumbbells and weight plates must not be dropped on the floor for any reason.

Fitness members should report all personal injuries immediately to the Fitness staff.

Personal Belongings

Fountain View Fitness is not responsible for lost or stolen personal items. 

Food and Drink

Except for capped water bottles, eating or drinking is prohibited.

Personal Belongings

No bags, coats, or personal items are allowed in the fitness center. Lockers are available for members and perimeter lockers are available for walking track only, free walking track members, and non-member fee-based class participants. Valuables should be secured in lockers. Items can not be held at the front desk.

Member Conduct

Respect the rights of others by using courteous and appropriate behavior.

  • No profane or offensive language.
  • No excessive grunting or noises.
  • No disrupting or interfering with the workout of another.

Valid Membership

  • All members, guests, and visitors must check-in upon each arrival.
  • All members must present a membership identification card before working out.
  • Lost membership cards may be replaced for a $5 fee.


Violations of Rules

Violations of any rule or regulation are subject to the following procedure:

  • Verbal Warning – violator informed by staff of the violation
  • Second Warning – a written warning issued to the violator
  • Third Warning – membership may be revoked

Fitness members should report all specific concerns immediately to the Fitness staff.
