Region 8 Moves to Phase 4
UPDATE: 2/3/2021
DuPage County, Region 8, has been cleared to move to Phase 4 of the Restore Illinois Plan. Safety continues to be our top priority. Face coverings and social distancing are still required at all times but some restrictions have been modified. Here are the changes that will take place:
Fountain View Fitness Center & Indoor Track – The fitness center and indoor track will continue to operate as it has been currently. Members may now drop in for Group Fitness classes. View our website for group fitness and group aqua fitness schedules. Virtual Group Fitness will continue to be offered. Per Fountain View Fitness policy, face coverings must continue to be worn at all times in the fitness center, including while working out.
Open Gym – FVF Member Open Gym has returned on February 1. Face coverings required at all times, including during play. Check the website for details.
Indoor Pool – The indoor pool will continue to operate as it has been currently with reservations required for lap lane swim. Pool locker rooms will remain open. Face coverings must be worn at all times to and from the time you enter/exit the water. View our website for our most up to date group aqua fitness schedule.
Dance, Gymnastics, Theatre
All health and safety protocol remains in place. Registration is still available for in-person classes. One parent/guardian can wait in the hallway during class for registrants 4 years and under.
ActivKids Childcare
Partial and full day Remote/Hybrid Learning continues at Simkus Recreation Center. Days Off Club registration is open. Face coverings and social distancing are still required. Registration is available!
Sports – We are offering many winter/spring leagues. Registered athletes will be given updated information on how each league is going to be run. Check out our website for details.
Special Events and General Programming – Check out our Digital Guide for all programming opportunities available now. Registration is open for February, March and April.
Rentals and Birthday Parties
Now accepting room rentals for up to 50 people at both Fountain View and Simkus Recreation Centers. Room capacity restrictions may apply based on Phase 4 guidelines.
